Validation status
What is live. What is not.
One AI-assisted NORM consumer review is published separately from the v1.1 assessment programme. No independent human scientific review has been completed. Zero published v1.1 assessments exist. Legacy v8 test runs are excluded from public coverage, scoring, ranking, and market statistics. NORM v1.1 is under implementation and validation. Ambiguity about method status is itself an accountability failure.
Public beta
Current status
| Layer | Status | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Public site | Active beta | Method, governance, correction, and validation status are available. |
| Consumer reviews | One | AG1 uses consumer-review-1.0. NORM is the final editorial authority; AI-assisted, without independent human scientific review. Not a validated v1.1 assessment. |
| Published v1.1 assessments | Zero | No version 1.1 brand assessment, score, or rank has been published. |
| Legacy v8 test runs | Internal calibration | Excluded from public coverage, scoring, ranking, and market statistics. |
| NORM version 1.1 | Under implementation and validation | A published draft method. It does not yet power a validated public index. |
| Browser extension | Legacy preview paused | Installation is not promoted while numeric legacy output is quarantined. |
| Badge or certification | Not authorized | No brand may claim NORM approval, certification, verification, or compliance. |
| Brand tools | Private pilot | Workflow access does not purchase a finding or change the evidence standard. |
Known public data limits
- Legacy v8 test runs were used to expose capture, calculation, and interface failures. They are not public assessments.
- The test dimensions and aggregate values have not passed the version 1.1 range, arithmetic, coverage, and reproducibility gates.
- Automated capture does not establish scientific support, legal compliance, safety, or product efficacy.
- Public v1.1 assessment coverage is zero. The consumer review does not count toward v1.1 validation or market-wide coverage. NORM does not represent the wellness market as a whole.
Publication gates for a future index
- Complete versioned claim receipts and stable source provenance.
- Valid product, population, condition, dose, duration, outcome, and magnitude matching.
- Range, arithmetic, missing data, and reproducibility tests.
- Human reviewer qualification, duplicate coding, adjudication, and reliability measurement.
- External methods, legal, regulatory, and domain review.
- Operational correction history, conflict disclosure, and related party controls.
Passing a software test is necessary but not sufficient. NORM must also demonstrate that trained reviewers apply the method consistently and that public language remains proportionate to the record.
